Why have the member packs been developed?
The new member packs bring together Royal FloraHolland's cooperative strategy and business strategy and give substance to two of those four principles of the cooperative strategy: we introduce member packs and thereby make membership very attractive.
As a cooperative, we face the challenge of continuing to add value now and in the future for all existing and future members. Digitalization and internationalization have radically changed the way of doing business in the floriculture sector. That is why the Council of Members developed a new cooperative strategy in 2022. Together in the cooperative, that is and remains important. In the new member packs, the cooperative strategy and Royal FloraHolland's business strategy come together and we give substance to two of the four principles of the cooperative strategy: we introduce member packs and thereby make membership very attractive.
Four principles form the basis of our cooperative strategy
The power of cooperation between our members, the company and our cooperative is what has made us successful in ornamental horticulture for over 100 years. And we want to remain so. With these four principles, which form the basis of our renewed cooperative strategy, we give substance to what we do and how we do it together in the cooperative:
- We strengthen the networking effect
- We introduce member packs
- We make membership very attractive
- We encourage the company to create value for members
"With the program 'Together in Our Cooperative,' the Council of Members took the initiative for a new cooperative strategy. The member packs are now the first major step forward and a nice result. Together, Member Council and company in close cooperation and in coordination with members have made more customized membership possible. We can all be proud of that as a cooperative."
