New campaign Flower Love puts growers in the spotlight

On Valentine's Day, hundreds of thousands of Dutch people buy a bunch of flowers for someone they love. Flower growers also feel that love: they are ready every day to grow the most beautiful flowers.

In the Flower Love campaign, which started today, we are putting growers in the spotlight together with the Royal Association of Florists (VBW) and Plantion. On Valentine's Day, but also afterwards.

We start with a number of stories that show how much passion, care and dedication actually goes into a bunch of flowers. Watch the video below by Arjan Smit of Smit Flowers. The tulip grower talks enthusiastically about his passion for tulips and what makes the flower so beautiful.

On Valentine's Day, a life-size card will be placed at a location yet to be determined, with declarations of love from growers to their own flowers. Passers-by at this location will also receive a beautiful free flower. More information will follow soon.

Flower love on Mother's Day

After Valentine's Day, we will continue the campaign until Mother's Day. The exact details for this day are not yet known. What is certain is that we want to convey a positive message about flowers in the coming period: with flowers, you pass on the love that starts with the growers.
