To keep services secure, stable and future-proof, Royal FloraHolland will discontinue a number of outdated EDI services by 1 September 2026. These concern messages for price information during the auction (V-EPT), daily statistics with average prices (DAGSTA), and daily direct/clock sales (EPT). In many cases, these messages are accessed through growers' software packages, possibly supported with insights through RFH Insights.

These messages use outdated technology that no longer aligns with the way Royal FloraHolland wants to exchange data securely and reliably. By switching to modern solutions through Floriday, the service can be further developed and remain aligned with new forms of trade.

Modern alternatives through Floriday and Insights
The information offered through these EDI messages was, in many cases, received by growers through their own software package. If that is not (yet) the case, alternatives are available via the Floriday screens or RFH Insights (app on Floriday). With these solutions, growers gain faster insight into prices and yields, making it more compatible with their trading process.

Development by software suppliers
Royal FloraHolland is working with software suppliers offering alternatives so that the transition can be prepared carefully and in good time. Growers using EDI messages will also be informed shortly so that they can continue to operate smoothly on 1 September 2026.

More information
Floriday's information page has a comprehensive overview of the alternatives and features for each software package .
