On behalf of the Royal FloraHolland Management Team, we wish everyone a healthy, prosperous and inspiring 2026. We would like to thank all our members, customers, partners, and employees for their valuable cooperation and the successes of the past year. Together, we will continue to build a strong, future-proof cooperative and floriculture sector. Here's to a wonderful new year. Together we make a difference; together we are strong.

We are starting this year with the excellent news that, as previously announced, Pieter Bootsma will be taking his first steps at the end of next week as part of his reintegration at Royal FloraHolland. We are all pleased about this. At the same time, Pieter's return must occur responsibly and gradually, both for himself and for RFH, to ensure continued clarity in RFH's management.

That is why the existing situation will continue, with David van Mechelen remaining in the role of interim CEO for at least the first half of 2026. With the arrival of experienced financial director Anton Sandler, who started this week as interim CFO, RFH's executive board is now complete. This ensures the continuity of the executive board, allowing RFH to continue at full strength from the Executive Board with the execution of Strategy 2030, while giving Pieter the space to assume tasks in the background without managerial responsibilities gradually.

Pieters will rejoin as an advisor and sparring partner to the executive board and the MT, focusing on strategy. He will not be responsible for any managerial tasks in this role. He will focus on several specific, defined strategic programmes without any (joint) responsibilities for the management of RFH. During this period, Pieter will also not perform any role involving external lots. We are counting on everyone to help ensure that Pieter can smoothly pick up where he left off and set the right pace in the interests of a successful reintegration, because that is our top priority. He will contact you himself at the appropriate time, and he looks forward to doing so.
