Through the Members' Council, growers are committed to important decisions and policies from the beginning. This leads to choices and solutions in which members' interests count.

Every year the composition of the Members' Council changes, which is why we are looking for new members who want to stand as candidates. The purpose | goal is to put together a Members' Council that is as good a reflection as possible of all our members. Members can apply until October 1 and then the Nominating Committee interviews all candidates. From this follows the first selection based on the reflection of the membership. The selected candidates will be nominated in the Member Council elections. In December, members vote for the candidates. Based on these results, the new members of the Members' Council will be appointed and they will start on January 1.

Inflow and outflow

The Members’ Council currently consists of 39 people. On the recommendation of the statutory Nomination Committee, they are appointed by the members during an annual members' meeting. There are clear rules about the term that Members' Council members can serve on the Members' Council.
