Action plan Peak 2026:
During last years' peak, we gained valuable experience with additional measures associated with (unexpected) crowding. Those were to help deliver reliable logistics performance. Based on that experience and the forecasts (volume, employees) for spring 2026, we again made a peak action plan. With targeted actions, we can respond flexibly to crowds when needed. Especially now that we supply (or to deliver) in various time slots at hubs where we pick orders. This allows you as a purchaser/ buyer to choose which purchases you want to have later (or sooner), instead of us determining that for you. Because of the spread that is created, peak actions that affect everyone (such as auctioning in higher volumes) will be less and less necessary in the long run.
Time slot delivery
For the auction groups for which we perform order picking, we deliver purchases within the time slot of your choice. This applies both to the regular process and to faster-than/outside-time delivery (Select Delivery).
Can we supply (or to deliver) some of your purchases later? Then use the 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. time slot (flowers) or the 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. time slot (flowers & plants). This helps us to meet the end times of the regular time slots, and you will receive a discount per transaction during these time slots on the first working day of the week.
Non- and early auction days
Auctioning an hour earlier on the busiest days means auction clocks and our logistics process start earlier. This gives you the opportunity to deliver your transactions to buyers earlier on a busy auction day. That's a nice message for your customers.
