Sponsorship
We provide targeted support for initiatives linked to sustainable and visible floriculture, offering our members and/or Royal FloraHolland a platform and showcasing something we as a sector are proud of. These initiatives are recognisable and visible in the local communities surrounding our hubs. We believe it is important that these initiatives create connections and added value for our members, employees and the floriculture sector. They showcase the pride of the flower and plant sector in terms of innovation, quality and social impact, such as sustainability.
Collaboration
We like to work with interest groups and partners in the (greenhouse) horticulture sector, such as Glastuinbouw Nederland, Plantum and GroentenFruitHuis. The aim is to contribute to innovation and sustainability and maintain public support for growers and their floriculture products.

Focus areas
We carefully select all our activities and focus on three areas:
Innovation & sustainability:
- Horticultural Entrepreneur Award recognises the horticultural sector for innovation, sustainability and good entrepreneurship.
Pride in the sector:
- Kom in de Kas (Come into the Greenhouse) offers the public the opportunity to visit growers and contributes to positioning greenhouse horticulture as a sustainable, progressive sector.
- Varend corso Westland, Flower Parade Rijnsburg and Bloemencorso Eelde are public events that showcase the flowers and plants grown by our growers around our hubs in Naaldwijk, Rijnsburg and Eelde.
Socially involved & visible:
- The Royal FloraHolland Roparun team runs +500km to raise money to make the lives of cancer patients more bearable through the Roparun Foundation.
- Royal FloraHolland Handball Club Aalsmeer has strong ties with the growers' community in the municipality of Aalsmeer.

RFH Foundation
The RFH Foundation is an initiative of Royal FloraHolland. Through the RFH Foundation, we support social issues in regions where Royal FloraHolland is active, both nationally and internationally. The activities of the RFH Foundation are in line with the values of the cooperative and contribute to a positive impact on people, the environment and the community. Our foundation is part of Royal FloraHolland and is not an independent foundation.
Applications
We carefully select the initiatives we contribute to, partly because RFH is a cooperative of grower members. We support initiatives based on the focus areas mentioned above and then assess whether an initiative is eligible for support on the basis of specific criteria. There is currently no scope for additional sponsorship applications or donation opportunities.
