What does it cost?
For rates, please refer to the Royal FloraHolland Rates overview for logistics services:
We will charge the costs to the person who makes the locking request.
Example: a carrier calls to have 20 lock plates removed from a buyer's box. The invoice then goes to the carrier. IIf the box holder makes the request,they will then receive the invoice.
Alternatively, customers leave the lock plates in place and wait for the auction site to reopen or that they use a lock plate key machine (SPSA).
How does it work?
If you wish to lock outside Connect Logistics opening hours or outside the usual Royal FloraHolland key locations, you can use the Locking service outside opening days.
There are 3 options, depending on your wishes:
- Locking on request: at agreed times where Logistics takes care of staffing.
- Locking on public holidays: on request, you can have a key-holder at your disposal during public holidays. You call a few days before the public holiday on which you want to use this service.
- Locking with company security (emergency or occasional situations): in unexpected or incidental situations you can contact company security. They will then remove the lock plates from the trolley.
