Report on the Members' Council Meeting of June 18, 2026
June 23, 2026
The Members' Council met on 18 June. This update provides a brief summary of the key outcomes.
Renewed tariff model
The Members' Council has approved the new tariff model and member packs, with effect from 1 January 2027. The new tariff model was developed in collaboration with members, including through the Members’ Council, the Members’ Council’s sounding board group, member sessions and discussions with groups of members. The aim of the renewed tariff model is to keep our cooperative strong and to allocate costs to where they are incurred. Over the coming period, the fees for 2027 will be further developed in consultation with the Members’ Council and finalised later this year.
Code of Conduct for Growers
The Members' Council has also approved the Code of Conduct for Growers. This provides guidance on good business practice and how we interact with one another within the cooperative. Further information on this will follow this autumn.
Company update
- Pieter Bootsma will return as CEO on 1 July, following a period of absence
- David van Mechelen will return to the role of CFO
- Anton Sandler has been thanked for his efforts as interim CFO
In conclusion
With this revised tariff system, the Members' Council has taken another important step towards a future-proof cooperative. The coming months will be devoted to further implementation. Step by step, as we move towards the autumn, we will work towards providing members with greater clarity, so that each member can determine what this means for their personal situation.
