We currently use the Avalanche software package to process and record all packaging transactions (collecting and/or returning). The software supplier is replacing this system, which is why we will be switching to their new TrackOnline software package on Sunday 16 November 2025. What does this mean for you as a user when you announce packaging transactions (collecting and/or returning) via Packaging Online and/or Avalanche Webview? Please note: due to this system replacement, all our packaging depots will be closed on Saturday 15 November 2025 and limited announcing times for packaging transactions will apply during this weekend.

Packaging Online is Royal FloraHolland's free web application, which you can use to easily announce  packaging collections and returns digitally. In addition, there is Avalanche Webview for viewing transactions, documents and reports. Packaging Online will remain available as you are used to, Avalanche Webview will be replaced by TrackOnline Webview.

What will not change?
Virtually nothing will change in the use of Packaging Online with the new software package. You can continue to use Packaging Online as you are used to: the digital announcing of packaging collections and returns will remain the same and your login details will not change.

Tip: keep your Packaging Online username and password handy. You may need to log in again when switching to TrackOnline if you have not entered this information for a long time.

What will change?
•    The packaging receipt will look slightly different, but will contain largely the same information. View an example of the old and new versions side by side
•    We are aligning the names of our collection and return processes more closely. You will see the changed names immediately when creating new returns: “Collecting Direct” changes to “Collecting Mobile” and “Collecting Shop” changes tot “Collecting Fixed”. We will implement this change in the coming weeks in the run-up to the go-live. The physical return point and the process will remain the same.
•    Avalanche Webview is being replaced by the new TrackOnline web portal. Here you can export transaction data for checks and reports, just as you do now.
o    The manual for using TrackOnline Webview can be found here.
o    Do you use Avalanche Webview to export data in XML-format? Bothe the layout and naming of data fields are changing. Read more about this in this explanation.

Temporary suspension of announcing packaging collection and returns
Due to the implementation of new software, both Packaging Online and Avalanche Webview will be unavailable from 5 p.m. on Friday 14 November 2025 until 5 p.m. on Sunday 16 November 2025. During this period, you will not be able to use these systems to announce packaging collections and/or returns. During this period, you will also have no insight into outstanding and completed packaging transactions, documents and reports. From Sunday 16 November at 5 p.m., Packaging Online and TrackOnline Webview will be available for use again. Of course, you can still announce packaging collections and/or returns for coming Sunday evening or Monday on Friday 14 November until 5 p.m. Please take into account the order times you are currently used to.

Packaging depots closed at all hubs on Saturday 15 November
Due to the migration to the new systems, all our packaging depots will be closed on Saturday 15 November 2025 as an exception. This means you will not be able to collect or return packaging on that day. Do you need packaging? Then visit our packaging depots during regular opening hours on Friday 14 November or Sunday evening 16 November 2025.
