Flower box Fc510 out of assortment after next Amaryllis season

In consultation with the FPC Amaryllis and various users, Royal FloraHolland has decided to permanently discontinue the Fc510 after the 2025/2026 Amaryllis season. The main reason for this decision is the high costs, which are partly due to the short season in which the box is used. Fortunately, we have various packaging options in our range that customers can use as alternatives.

We used the past season to investigate possible alternatives together with growers and buyers. There are various solutions available in our current packaging range and we are also adding an extra flower box to the range.

Alternative packaging
The existing alternative packaging in our range are:

• Single-use Amaryllis box Fc654 (100x20x9cm)
• Reusable flower box Fc520 (100x40x19cm)
• Reusable small bucket Fc566 (with rack Fc596 optional)

New wide single-use Amaryllis box Fc656

In addition, for the start of the new Amaryllis season 2025/2026, we are adding an extra alternative to Royal FloraHolland's packaging range: the single-use wide Amaryllis box, which Veiling Rhein-Maas has had in its range for some time under Fc154.

The dimensions of this box are almost identical to those of the Fc510, namely 100x30x10cm. Growers can use this box as a single-use box for Clock Supply and can rotate it among themselves on their own initiative via Direct Sales. It is of course not permitted to use used boxes for Clock Supply. The packaging code for this new single-use box is Fc656.

2025/2026 season transition period
We have decided not to remove Fc510 from the range immediately, but to use the coming season as a transition period. This will give growers and buyers the opportunity to gradually switch to the various alternatives.
