Cooperative strategy status: processing feedback from Member Sessions in March

During the Member Sessions in March, there was extensive discussion once again on the 'Together in our cooperative' project. There are four principles underlying that cooperative strategy that we – together with all members – are elaborating on in ever greater detail:

1. strengthening the network effect
2. introducing user packages for an optimal user experience
3. making membership attractive
4. ensuring the company creates value for its members

Member Sessions feedback in March User packages and making membership more attractive were discussed in particular during the Member Sessions in March. The Members' Council and the working group (which is involved in implementing the strategy from within the company) explained the complexity of these issues and clarified the various factors they have to consider. The members entered into discussions with each other about this. The feedback gathered from the Member Sessions in March was taken into account for further development of the cooperative strategy. In the next Member newsletter, we will share a detailed report of these sessions, including the most important feedback from members.

It is crucial to exchange views on this with each other so that we can take all the feedback into account in the development. It is nice to have held this discussion with so many members.”

Next steps
At present, the feedback gathered from the Member Sessions in March is being further developed into more concrete details of user packages and membership forms. The first draft proposals will be ready in early June. We are very curious, of course, to know what everyone thinks of this, which is why we are organising extra member sessions:

• 6 June – Aalsmeer
• 7 June – Naaldwijk
• 8 June – Wervershoof (North Holland)
• Extra online session (date to be announced)
