Assortment of multi-use plant trays

Floratino has numerous advantages and unique features:

• Five types of trays for total range pot size 7-17 cm.
  
• Tracking & Tracing: unique identification at tray level by bar and QR code.

Euro Plant Tray is an initiative of parties from all links of the European floriculture chain to introduce a multi-use plant tray series including the associated pool model. Royal FloraHolland is also participating in this joint venture.

Since March 2025, growers and buyers trade plant trays in EPT trays and Royal FloraHolland facilitates the collection and issue of these trays. For now, this is done on a small scale with a few buyers and their suppliers. Physical collection and issue currently only takes place at our hub Naaldwijk. The EPT trays are registered as a balance system, similar to CCs. Pricing has also been adjusted accordingly.

EPT trays are not yet freely available through Royal FloraHolland. The expectation is, however, that we will get more and more users in the course of 2025. We are therefore working towards a situation where EPT trays are available to everyone, but it is not yet that far. As soon as this is possible, communication will take place.
