From wish to reality: CC auction groups now also connected to Auction Presales

Good news for plant growers and buyers. It is now possible to offer plants, including full CCs (also known as Danish containers), for Auction Presales within the CC auction groups. After a successful trial with several growers, this option is now available with immediate effect. This expansion fulfils a long-standing wish of growers and gives buyers more certainty in their purchasing process.

What's new?
Until now, Auction Presales was already available in almost all auction groups, except for the CC auction groups for plants. There was a clear reason for this: CCs are not subject to order picking and can only be sold in their entirety. Individual purchases per packaging unit were therefore not possible. Thanks to this new functionality in Floriday and via the webshop links, full CCs can now also be sold and purchased in advance through Auction Presales. This makes the assortment more complete and the sales process more efficient.

The advantages: certainty and efficiency
For both growers and buyers, purchasing full CCs offers greater certainty and efficiency. Growers can now sell an entire CC directly via Auction Presales from 12:00 noon onwards, at no extra cost. This gives buyers the opportunity to purchase a full CC in advance, with the certainty that the transaction is final and without surprises at the clock.

Minimum delivery of 2 CCs
Because a grower may offer a maximum of 80% of their supply via Auction Presales, a minimum of 2 CCs must always be delivered. For example, for a lot of 5 CCs, a maximum of 4 CCs can be sold via Auction Presales.

Delivery times for buyers
CCs purchased through Auction Presales are delivered on the morning of the auction day. Time slots have not (yet) been fully arranged. If you require extra-early or afternoon delivery, please contact the Client Contact Centre.

Want to know how it works?
