Bachetle chooses to grow at Aalsmeer-Oost
June 8, 2026
Royal FloraHolland welcomes Bachetle as a future tenant at Aalsmeer-Oost. The international flower trading company has chosen to establish itself in the newly developed Dahlia building, marking an important step in its strategic growth and strengthening its connection to the international floriculture hub of Aalsmeer.
Bachetle operates as a flower trader, with chrysanthemums currently forming its core product group. The company primarily serves various Eastern European markets but aims to expand into Western Europe in the coming years, including the United Kingdom, France and Germany. As part of this strategy, Bachetle intends to broaden its assortment to include roses and exotic flowers.
These product groups are largely traded through the Aalsmeer hub, which has been a key reason for choosing Aalsmeer-Oost, as explained by Loghman Aliyev, Director of Bachetle: “Our growth ambitions require a different position within the supply chain. By operating closer to the marketplace in Aalsmeer, we can optimise our logistics and respond more quickly to demand in Western European markets. This step enables us to further expand our offering and better serve our customers.”
More efficient logistics and direct connection to the marketplace
With its future location in the newly constructed Dahlia building, Bachetle will be able to organise its logistics chain far more efficiently. The direct connection to the product street and the physical marketplace will help reduce transport movements, shorten lead times and improve delivery reliability towards customers
Long-term partnership and commitment
Discussions regarding a potential location at Aalsmeer-Oost began in early 2025. The collaboration between Royal FloraHolland and Bachetle has been formalised in a long-term lease agreement. David van Mechelen, interim CEO of Royal FloraHolland, commented: “The arrival of Bachetle at the Dahlia building further strengthens the development of Aalsmeer-Oost and the international position of our marketplace. We are pleased to welcome a renowned party like Bachetle, which is focused on growth and actively capitalising on opportunities in new markets and product groups.”
Boost for Aalsmeer-Oost with a modern working environment
The development of Dahlia as the fourth building marks another step in the continued expansion of Aalsmeer-Oost. With several logistics facilities being realised along the N201, the area is evolving into a modern and future-proof cluster for floriculture businesses.
The Dahlia building will provide Bachetle with a modern and sustainable working environment, designed to support efficient logistics and further scaling of its operations. The combination of high-quality facilities, excellent accessibility and direct access to the marketplace makes this location ideally suited for the company’s next phase of growth.
