Meet Royal FloraHolland at IFTEX 2024

This year’s edition of Kenya’s Flower Industry Expo (IFTEX) is set to kick off on Tuesday 4th to Thursday 6th June. Buyers from over 75 countries have already registered and 186 growers and suppliers will be exhibiting, underscoring the Expo’s global significance.
Sustainability will be the major topic of discussion with an international conference dubbed: ‘Sustainability Advancements in the Global Cut Flower Industry: What next for Kenya’s producers?’ scheduled for Monday 3rd June, a day before the official opening of the expo. Delegates will participate in discussions on sustainability messaging, innovations in cut flower cultivation, production, and logistics with a central focus on building resilience and adaptation in the Kenyan floriculture industry.
Royal FloraHolland will be present at our signature booth number B3.08 showcasing the theme ‘International Growth’ focusing on growing trade within existing and new tradelanes across the globe through our B2B platform Floriday, the global platform for the floriculture industry.
Kenya is the world’s fourth largest exporter of cut flowers contributing to 6 per cent of global cut-flower exports and is consistently known around the world for delivering high-quality product. For FloraHolland, Kenya is the number one import country towards the auction contributing a turnover of € 406 million in 2023.
IFTEX is set to be the event of the year for the Floriculture Industry in East Africa and the greater African region that will bring together growers, buyers, breeders, and industry stakeholders providing a platform for business and the flourishing future of the global flower trade.
