New tariffs 2024 Main changes for buyers

We would like to inform you about the tariffs applicable to you as a buyer on the platform as of 1 January 2024. Furthermore we would like to tell you more about the main changes and explain how we deal with cost control and necessary investments.
Large annual cost increases
In recent years, our rate increases have lagged behind the rise in our costs and inflation. Royal FloraHolland's costs have increased rapidly in the past two years, more than its revenues. With inflation, collective bargaining agreements and a higher energy bill as the main causes.
Commitment to cost control
Of course, we continuously steer towards cost savings and preventing cost increases. We have long been implementing large-scale, concrete measures in our organisation with a view to controlling costs. Their implementation takes time.
Need to invest
Our investments are increasing in Floriday and in digitalisation, but also in sustainability and property development and maintenance. Ultimately, the entire sector benefits from the necessary investments we are now accelerating in our IT systems, processes and real estate.
Key rate changes 2024
We list the main tariff changes from 1 January 2024 for you:
• Introduction of a single electricity tariff, high and low tariff cancelled.
• Increase in transaction charge from €1.58 to €1.75 per transaction (discounts unchanged).
• Increase rate KOA tribune workstation from €49 to €52.80- per month.
• Increase KOA connection rate from € 37.50 to € 40.45 per month.
• Increase of rates for various logistics assets by 6.3% on average
• Increase of other rates by 7.8% (according to DPI index).
• Increase of box and office rental rates by 4.6% (CPI index) in accordance with the contract.
