Wanted: Candidate Members' Council member
April 26, 2023

Information about the Members’ Council
The Members' Council was created in 2019, replaces the former GMM and consists of 39 members as of 1 January 2022. The Members' Council represents the members and their interests within the cooperative and is an important sounding board for management in the further development of Royal FloraHolland.
As a Members' Council, we test the realization of the policy against everyday practice, enter into discussions with members, and have regular consultations with the Management Board and Supervisory Board. Based on the input of members, the company can make well-considered choices based on the interests of members. In this way, we, as members' council, are the link between growers and the company and therefore of added value.
The Members' Council also has a clear advisory and signal function to the company. That is why it is important that the Members' Council knows what is going on amongst members. During member sessions, among other things, experiences and signals from members are collected. These are input in the discussions with management and the progress is fed back to the members. Members' Council members receive appropriate remuneration.
