Transporting your purchases: packaging and trolleys

Purchased flowers or plants from the auction clock? We will make sure you receive them at the agreed time and desired place. We can also arrange the delivery of direct sales, for example, when growers choose Connect Logistics. Or if they have their stock at our hub, we can handle logistics after a sale. Our services perfectly align the delivery of your purchases with your logistics processes, from handling and processing to transport to the final destination.

Delivery to our hubs

Our four hubs are strategically located. This makes them ideally positioned for the efficient transport of flowers and plants from A to B while maintaining product quality. Growers bring their products to us or have them dropped off. We then store the products as desired and under appropriate conditions, whether refrigerated or unrefrigerated. After auctioning or direct sale, we make sure the product reaches you. Do you own or rent a box or storage space at one of our hubs? Your products will be delivered there. If you don't have a box, we will deliver your purchases to your rented (temporary) processing box at our hubs.

Select Delivery Hub to Hub

Have you purchased products on the auction clock from a hub different from where your box is located? With Select Delivery Hub to Hub, it doesn’t matter which hub you buy from because your flowers or plants will always be delivered to the hub where you are located before 12.00 pm. Your purchases will be given priority within the logistics process. We also transport your purchases from the hub where they are located to your box. That provides certainty. For instance, if you rent a box at the Aalsmeer hub but also sometimes buy from Naaldwijk, we’ll help you get your products to the right hub.

Deliveries outside our hubs

Buying flowers or plants on the auction clock in Eelde but located somewhere else? Have your purchases delivered to your shop. Floriway’s 24-hour service makes it quick and easy to arrange transport to garden centres, distribution centres and various wholesalers in the vicinity of our hubs in Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk or Rijnsburg. This means you don’t have to travel to our hubs yourself, saving you time.

Choose the delivery time yourself

Whether you buy flowers and plants via the auction clock, Auction Presales or directly, you want to know when you’ll receive your purchases to optimise your process. At our hubs, we deliver your purchases during your chosen time slot as standard. You decide which delivery times work for you, which you can set per hub, per day and per buyer plate. In the standard time slot, we start picking your products as early as 6 am. You choose whether you’d like 11.00 am or 12.00 pm to be the latest delivery time.

Some customers like to leave at 11.00 am, while for others, it doesn’t matter as much. They only arrive at around 1.30 pm and don’t necessarily need their products any earlier. This makes it convenient to use time slots.

Spreading and coordinating delivery times

With Select Delivery, you can better coordinate delivery times with your work processes. Select a time slot towards the end of the delivery process or an earlier time instead. Request delivery as soon as possible or later that day. You have the flexibility to set the time slot when you want to have your products delivered and can easily spread out the delivery times. For example, if you’d like to receive all or part of your trade in your box at a guaranteed earlier time, you can have your Auction Presales purchases delivered before 8 am. Or, if you’d rather have your deliveries spread out over the morning and afternoon, you can opt for a combination of standard delivery and delivery between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm.

Choose the delivery time yourself with Select Delivery

With this new logistics service, you can decide which time slot you want to receive your trade in. The first available time slot is for the Auction Presales transactions: you will receive these in your box between 6.00 am and 8.00 am. We are gradually making more and more time slots available.

Delivery within sixty to ninety minutes

If you buy via auction and need some of your products quickly, opt for Select Delivery Priority to have them delivered to your box within sixty to ninety minutes of purchase.

Did you buy directly from a grower who arranges delivery through Connect Logistics at your hub? Then, you will receive your purchases within one hour after the grower delivers their supply. If the grower delivers outside opening hours, you will receive your purchases the next morning. Your purchases will be delivered with care and priority, including Track & Trace.

Save more than time with Select Delivery

The biggest advantage of Select Delivery 10.00 am - 1.00 pm is that we can work more efficiently. Not all trade needs to be delivered to your box early. With the new Select Delivery 10.00-13.00 time slot, you can spread out the supply, employees start later, your products are refrigerated for longer at Royal FloraHolland and you save space. That way, you can set up your logistics as optimally as possible.
