Royal FloraHolland Sustainability Award

At Royal FloraHolland, we believe in a flourishing future. A future in which growth does not come at the expense of people or the environment, but stems instead from sustainability and innovation. A future in which our members not only supply beautiful products but also contribute to a healthy, green world. Based on this conviction, we established the Royal FloraHolland Sustainability Award. 

The Sustainability Award is not just any prize. It is the annual platform where members of our cooperative are challenged and inspired to share their sustainable innovations. The award recognizes, rewards, and encourages growers who contribute to a future-proof floriculture sector with vision and decisiveness. 

With the Sustainability Award, we demonstrate how we collectively take responsibility for our planet, our cooperative, and the quality of our business operations. Growing Greener Together—that is the idea. Whether it concerns smart water conservation, environmentally friendly packaging, fair working conditions, improved business operations, or technological innovations, every sustainable initiative counts.

• Tot 15 augustus kun je jouw innovatie aanmelden.
• Een onafhankelijke vakjury beoordeelt aansluitend alle in zendingen op duurzaamheid (ESG), impact en haalbaarheid. De vijf meest veelbelovende innovaties worden geselecteerd en mogen hun idee persoonlijk voorleggen aan de jury. Ook worden er professionele video’s gemaakt om de innovatie extra bekendheid te geven.
• In oktober volgt de publieksstemming: alle leden van Royal FloraHolland kunnen dan stemmen op hun favoriete innovatie en bepalen mede wie er wint. De stem van het publiek telt voor 30% mee in de waardering.
• Tijdens de feestelijke uitreiking op de jaarlijkse Trade Fair Aalsmeer in november zetten we de genomineerden uitgebreid in het zonnetje en maken we de winnaars bekend.
