Keeps you alert to the quality of your supply information
Customers like to do business via the auction with growers who have their quality and grading information in order. That is why Royal FloraHolland uses the Quality Index (QI) to reflect the reliability of the supply information. Fewer corrections lead to a higher QI. Follow your personal QI score and understand where you can adjust your processes. This keeps you alert and allows you to improve your reliability towards your customers.
The personal Quality Index is free of charge.
Go to My Royal FloraHolland and register for the Quality Index (QI). From then on, you will always be able to check your personal QI. A graph shows the course of your QI, and there is an overview of the corrections to your lot information.
Royal FloraHolland bases your QI on the number of complaints received about your clock lots in the past 8 weeks. The QI system is divided into classes:
Royal FloraHolland calculates your QI anew every day and uses this information for customers. Naturally, a high QI is valuable. It confirms that you are reliable and strengthens your relationship with your customers. The QI is also a good indicator for guiding your business operations.
How does Royal FloraHolland calculate your QI?
NB: the Quality Index (QI) has replaced the Reliability Index (RI) except at the Eelde location, where the RI is still being used. Eelde and Veiling Rhein-Maas do not contribute to the QI.
Example 1
Grower A supplies 3 locations. The grower supplies 1,000 lots in 8
weeks and receives 5 complaints over this supply.
His QI is then: (1,000 -/- (5-1))/1,000 = 99.6%
Grower A has supplied 1,000 lots and received complaints on 5 of
them. The first complaint is discounted. Thus, 996 of the 1,000
lots were in order = 99.6%.
Grower A is in class A.
Example 2
Grower B supplies 1 location. The grower supplies a seasonal
product and has supplied 200 lots in 4 weeks. He receives 5
complaints.
His QI is then: (200 -/- (5-1))/200 = 98.0%
Grower B is in class B.
