Supply Product photos
With the product photos you present your products to the customers. They trust that the information is reliable and that the photos are representative for the product.
How to make good photos
Would you like to start making product photos? We are happy to help you out. Grower Pieter Kolk from Pieter Kolk BV and nursery SV.CO provide practical tips on making representative product photos. Get inspired! You will also hear from Barnhoorn Flowers why a representative photo makes all the difference in their purchasing and sales processes.
What is a good photo?
You will find the photo guidelines on our website. There is a choice between guidelines for flowers or for plants.
Two ways to deliver your photos
1. Deliver with your EAB
Decide whether you want to take a separate photo of each lot or just one photo of several lots. The method for transferring photos using the Electronic Delivery Form (EAB) is the same for all export locations.
Your software vendor can create a link in the EAB software between the EAB and the image message. Consult the manual of your EAB software for more information about the capabilities of this functionality.
When you submit your photo along with your EAB, it is automatically saved in the Image Centre and displayed with your lot.
2. Place photos in the Image Centre
Create a link between your photo and your EAB by placing in your EAB the photo ID you've allocated to the photo.
Read the photo requirements carefully. The rules help you take representative grower's images.
Submitting correct grower's information
It's also important to send us correct and complete information on the status of your product. You can do this through your EAB. Correct information supplied with your product tells the trader what he is buying. The information you should provide, can be found on the VBN website.
