Delivery at any time and payment security with mutual transactions
Would you like to be able to purchase ornamental plant products from fellow growers, so that you can sell them again (along with your own cultivation) through Royal FloraHolland? The grower-grower scheme (Kweker-Kweker Regeling in Dutch, KKR for short) facilitates sales between growers, avoiding or limiting double levies. This is subject to the condition that the grower who purchases the products resells them via Royal FloraHolland. The purchasing grower signs a contract with Royal FloraHolland for this purpose.
The KKR participant takes out an annual subscription for this service. For members this is € 155 and for non-members € 310 per KKR buyer number. In addition to the subscription fee, KKR members also pay 0.05% commission on purchase turnover.
There are two transactions in the KKR:
In order to avoid double levies, the KKR participant receives part of the levies as an advance payment during the first transaction. After the end of the calendar year, the final settlement takes place.
From 1 January 2021, KKR transactions will take place via Floriday. The KKR participant can buy and sell via Floriday. Buying is done as a 'buyer' on Floriday. Selling is done as a 'grower' on Floriday. It is important that KKR participants use a login for growers and a login for buyers.
Growers who buy products from fellow growers can apply for a KKR (buyer) number.
This is subject to a number of conditions:
The grower-grower scheme offers advantages for both buying and supplying growers.
