How does it work?

We test your flowers and plants several times a year for vase life and important quality characteristics such as bud opening and leaf quality. The results are immediately available online in FlorEsearch. You can compare them with previous tests. Want to give buyers extra confidence? Download your test results from the FlorEsearch dashboard and make them public to buyers - visible on the clock face and in online marketplaces.

What do we offer for flowers?

As an individual grower, you can have a vase life test done. Afterwards, you will receive a comprehensive report with the results, including a qualitative analysis and photos from our quality specialist.

  • A vase life test provides insight into, among other things, the vase life of a flower, making it an important measure of consumer value.
  • The test assesses both quantitative traits (such as bud opening) and qualitative traits (such as degree of wilting).

What do we offer for plants?

As an individual grower, you can have a shelf-life test done. Afterwards, you will receive a comprehensive report with the results, including a qualitative analysis and photos from our quality specialist.

  • A shelf-life test provides insight into the shelf-life of a (potted) plant, making it an important measure of consumer value.
  • The test assesses both quantitative traits (such as the percentage of open flowers) and qualitative traits (such as leaf yellowing and leaf desiccation).
