Logistic software problems resolved02 March 2018
We have resolved the recent software problems which were the cause of the logistics service provision in the past week not being what you would normally expect from us. We would like to explain here what happened.
You most likely noticed last week that our logistics service provision was not working as you would normally expect from us. After the positive news around Valentine's Day, we feel it is important to explain why we failed to keep to the end time deadlines.
Software disruption in handscanners at Naaldwijk
The handscanners at Naaldwijk did not work properly due to a fault in their software. The managers could not scan the products, and the delivery teams could not bring the products to your box by the planned deadlines. The cause of this problem was investigated and resolved. We are now monitoring the system to prevent this kind of situation in the future.
Server disruption in voice-controlled distribution system at Aalsmeer
Last Monday, there was a disruption in the server of the voice-controlled distribution system in Aalsmeer. This meant that we could not carry out our jobs for 25 minutes. You may have experienced difficulties because of this. This disruption has also been resolved.

We realise that you may have found the consequences of these disruptions highly irritating. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. The improvement of our daily service provision has our highest priority. Unfortunately, we do not succeed with this every day. Please be assured that we exert ourselves to the utmost every day to prevent or resolve problems. We strive to be better all the time.
