Delivery from stock Aalsmeer live with Floriday and Floramondo20 December 2018
On 12 December 2018 ‘Delivery from Stock’ via Floriday (the digital supply platform), FloraMondo (the online trade platform) and our new Warehouse Management System (WMS) went live in Aalsmeer.
Delivery from stock is a new service within fulfillment with which we aim to take logistics off the hands of our growers and customers.
Have logistics taken completely off your hands
After Naaldwijk, Aalsmeer is the second location where we are going live. This allows us to reach a new milestone and lay the foundation for further growth and implementation of the logistics strategy. In Aalsmeer, Delivery from Stock has been offered to Van Helvoort for some time. The link with our online order and stock systems is new. This week, we started with the Lily Grower Double Check Lily. More flower growers will follow in the next weeks. In the future, plant growers will also be able to deliver from stock.
Satisfied growers and customers
Growers and customers reacted positively. Entered orders are passed on almost automatically to Royal FloraHolland. Especially the reliability and the delivery speed, thanks to automatic links in the systems, are greatly appreciated. This significantly shortens the lead time. Products arrive at customers' doorsteps much faster.
Rijnsburg will also start delivering from stock via Floriday and Floramondo at the end of January. With this, we will lay a new cross-location foundation to further expand our services. The path towards taking logistics completely off the hands of growers and customers.
Are you located far away from your customers, but still want to deliver quickly? Do you find it difficult to process small transactions quickly or do you want to have logistics taken completely off your hands? You can apply for Delivery from Stock via customer service. We will then contact you to discuss the possibilities.
