Which packaging prices will change as of 1 January 2019?17 December 2018
Packaging prices can change twice a year. This usually happens on the first Monday of January and the first Monday of July.
As of Tuesday 1 January 2019, various packaging prices will change.
Price changes for single-use packaging
We can lower the prices of certain single-use packaging units, while other single-use packaging units will increase in price. These changes are caused by a rise or fall in raw material prices, among other things.
The prices of Normpack-trays® remain unchanged.
Rental fees multi-use packaging reduced
For a large number of multi-use packaging units we are reducing the rental fees. Many flower buckets and flower racks will drop in price by 1 euro cent. The rental fees for all multi-use plant trays will drop by 2 euro cents. We want to stimulate the use of these plant trays with a view to sustainability.
Adjustment of rental structure for flower bucket Fc566 levels the playing field
On 1 January 2019 we will adjust the rental structure of the Fc566 and Fc596. We will levy the rental fee twice upon issue and refund one rental fee to the supplier upon supply through Royal FloraHolland, Plantion or Veiling Rhein-Maas. This will prevent improper use of the packaging pool. Nothing will change for the customer.
Adjustment of transfer codes 901 through 942
As of 1 January 2019, we will introduce two new transfer codes for Fc566 and Fc577. In addition, we will discontinue the transfer codes Fc901 through 942. These changes result from greater differentiation in both rental structure and flower packaging rates as of 1 January 2019.
