How can we avoid glitter and paint on multi-use plastic flower packaging?01 December 2017
The Christmas supply is starting to arrive. So we are increasingly encountering glitter and paint on the multi-use plastic flower packaging. This creates problems in our container-washing machines. Glitter and paint are therefore not permitted. How can we prevent this together?
Our container-washing machines cannot always remove the glitter and paint. So users receive packaging that is not clean, which is a huge source of irritation. Do you use glitter and/or paint on your products? Help us by reading the instructions to prevent this situation below.
Place treated product in packaging after drying
Let the handled product dry first before placing it in the packaging. This will prevent glitter and paint from contaminating the packaging. For the sake of completeness, we refer to the General Terms and Conditions for Packaging, article 3 par. 6: "Seller, buyer or transporter may not change, affix stickers, paint or in any other manner add identifying marks, symbols or names to the outside of the packaging, other than in the way and at the place permitted by Royal FloraHolland." We will take in contaminated packaging at our packaging centres, but we shall not return the deposit.
