Everything you need to know about the annual statements of Royal FloraHolland21 December 2016
On Monday, 9 January 2017, we shall be sending out the 2016 annual statements for Royal FloraHolland. You will probably have a lot of questions about them, so we are providing a FAQ here.
I am active at several Royal FloraHolland locations. Will I then get several annual statements?
Yes, you receive an annual statement for each location. You will also always receive a Concern annual statement. The annual statement for Aalsmeer is called the 'cumulative turnover statement'.
How will I receive my annual statements?
All annual statements are sent by mail. Only the Concern annual statement is e-mailed to the financial e-mail address we have for you. You can also request all annual statements via My Royal FloraHolland (Account Online). The annual statements for Naaldwijk and Concern and the cumulative turnover statement for Aalsmeer will be published in Account Online in the last week of 2016 or the first week of 2017. The annual statement for Rijnsburg can be found among the archived documents, dated 6 February 2016.
What does the Concern annual statement cover?
The Concern annual statement specifies your clock purchases or sales starting from 1 February 2016, direct purchases or sales (via Connect) and services settled via the Concern services invoice.
How can I get an overall view of my purchases or sales?
For an overall view of your purchases or sales, add up the figures from all the annual statements of the locations you used.
NB: along with the annual statements for each location, there is also always a Concern annual statement.
For suppliers, the following applies: products auctioned at the clock from 1 January 2016 through 31 January 2016 are listed on the annual statements of the relevant location. Products auctioned at the clock from 1 February 2016 onwards are listed on the Concern annual statement. Direct trade and paid services for all of 2016 are listed on the Concern annual statement. You simply add up all the annual statements for 2016.
For buyers, the following applies: products purchased at the clock from 1 January 2016 through 31 January 2016 are listed on the annual statements of the relevant location. Products purchased at the clock from 1 February 2016 onwards are listed on the Concern annual statement. Direct trade and paid services for all of 2016 are listed on the Concern annual statement. The listing of purchased and sold goods continues after 1 February 2016 on the annual statements of the location where you bought or sold the goods. You simply add up all the annual statements.
The total amount of the annual statements differs from my payments made or received. What causes this difference?
The difference can be caused by:
- The paid invoices of your transporters. These invoices are not listed on our annual statements. Please contact the transporter directly if you have any questions.
- The proceeds/expenditure of the last week of 2016 is paid out/collected in the first week of 2017.
- You may be missing one or more annual statements.
Could that not be the reason?
Where is the listing of my Florists Clock Naaldwijk purchases or sales?
The data for the Florists Clock for January 2016 are listed on the annual statement for Naaldwijk. The data from 1 February 2016 onwards are listed on the Concern annual statement.
Is the annual statement for Rijnsburg still coming?
This cumulative overview only contains details for the month of January 2016 due to the transition to the Concern clock invoice. You should include this annual statement when counting up your other annual statements. You will receive this annual statement again in the mail (it was already sent to you in February 2016), and the annual statement was published in Account Online on 6 February 2016.
I am missing an annual statement. Where can I request a copy?
For the Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk and Rijnsburg locations, they are available in Account Online. For the Aalsmeer location, tick the 'cumulative turnover statement' in the filter menu in Account Online. For Eelde and the Rhein-Maas Auction, please contact Customer Services.
