Report on the formal Members' Council meeting and Members' meeting on December 11, 2025

The formal Members' Council meeting took place on Thursday, December 11. The meeting was chaired by Evert van Helvoort, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. During the meeting, the Members' Council made a decision on the membership fees for 2025 and the new composition of the Supervisory Board.

In addition to voting on the new composition of the Supervisory Board with two new members and membership fees for 2026, there was a review of the November member sessions in the Netherlands, Germany, Kenya, and Ethiopia. There was also an explanation of the annual plan and budget for 2026, and the Management Board provided a business update.

After the Members' Council had been well informed about the decisions to be taken and intensive and fruitful discussions had been held both with the company and among themselves, the following decisions were taken during this formal Members' Council meeting:

• The membership fees for 2026, as discussed in the members' sessions, were approved.
• The new composition of the Supervisory Board was approved.

Member meeting: farewell and appointment of Member Council members

During the meeting, farewells were said to seven members of the Member Council: Lydia Klaver, Peter Varekamp, Riya Bunty Shah, Dick Houtenbos, Arnoud van der Knaap, Robin van der Knaap, and Mirjam van der Meer. On behalf of all members, they were warmly thanked for their efforts in the Members' Council. Farewells were also said to the two retiring Supervisory Board members, Rosaline Zuurbier and Pascal Visée. A Royal FloraHolland diamond was presented to Rosaline Zuurbier, Pascal Visée (not present), Robin van der Knaap, Arnoud van der Knaap, and Peter Varekamp for their commitment to the cooperative.

After the farewell, seven new nominated members were appointed to the Members' Council. All members of the cooperative were able to cast their votes until December 10. After the voting process was checked by two members of the Members' Council, no irregularities were found. All seven candidates received a positive result in the vote and have therefore been installed in the Members' Council. Congratulations!
