Today, Thursday 18 August, you may not have experienced the service you are accustomed to. Our auction process at the three export locations Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk and Rijnsburg was halted for more than two hours due to a malfunction. We realize that the consequences of this exceptional failure are very inconvenient for you. We offer our sincere apologies and will do everything we can to prevent this from happening again in the future. Tomorrow the auction process will run again, as you have come to expect from us.

 Network problem

Due to a network problem in our Marketplace Network (MPN) it was not possible to start the auction this morning at 6.00 am. At 8.20 am we could start the auctions. The problem had consequences for all export locations of Royal FloraHolland and more specifically location Rijnsburg. This has led to a later end time. We have tried to limit the logistic delay as much as possible.

Extra checks this week

Royal FloraHolland gives the highest priority to the reliability and future-proofing of its network. We continuously invest in improvements and do everything we can to prevent such malfunction. In the coming auction days, we will carry out extra checks and have additional IT capacity ready early in the morning. In addition, we are conducting extensive research into the exact cause and various follow-up actions have already been taken to prevent a recurrence.
