Which packaging prices will change as of 3 January 2022?
December 7, 2021

Almost all raw material prices have increased significantly over the past months and this has been translated into various price changes, which will be implemented as of Monday 3 January 2022. We are also introducing a transaction margin for the plant boxes.
You will find all changes in the code list and price list and in the Overview of price changes.
Single-use card
As a result of the increase in prices for raw materials and also production costs, the price of single-use card has risen.
Transaction margin plant boxes
Following on from the single-use flower boxes, we are also introducing a transaction margin of €0.02 to the plant boxes as of 3 January. The collection price will be reduced by € 0.02. This also applies to the remuneration that the transporter receives for supplying. The transporter will continue to be remunerated in full for the plant boxes purchased by Royal FloraHolland. The transfer price for the buyer is not being reduced. These changes mean that buying plant boxes from Royal FloraHolland will remain an attractive option. We will incorporate the new transaction margin and the price increase into the collection and transfer prices as of 3 January 2022.
Normpack® trays
The collection price and transfer price for supply of the Normpack® trays will rise by €0.01 due to market price developments. The transfer price for the buyer will increase by €0.02 (€0.01). We are thus increasing the price difference with multi-use plant trays in a bid to further encourage the use of multi-use plant trays. Multi-use plant trays are more sustainable than single-use plant trays and this amended transfer price fits into our quest to increase sustainability in the use of plant trays. Do you use white, coloured or transparent Normpack® trays? When these more expensive trays are supplied, you can also use the specific packaging codes per tray series with the higher remuneration, than the standard codes for Normpack® trays.
