Royal floraholland corona economy

In accordance with the guidelines of the Dutch central government and the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) to wear a (non-medical) face mask in public indoor spaces, you will be required to wear a face mask at the Royal FloraHolland marketplace as of Wednesday 1 December 2021.

It is mandatory to wear a face mask as soon as you are standing in, walking or driving a tractor through the buildings. If you are sitting down, for example in the auction room, you may remove your face mask. It is also mandatory to wear a face mask in areas that are not enclosed and are therefore accessible, in practice, to others. The obligation to wear a face mask also applies therefore to the delivery lanes at boxes, non-enclosed areas of boxes and KNB areas.

Maintain a distance of 1.5 metres

As is well known by now, wearing a (non-medical) face mask or face shield does not replace the 1.5 meter rule. It is imperative that you always maintain a distance of 1.5 metres from other people and that you also make use of a (non-surgical) face mask. You are personally responsible for adherence to the coronavirus rules in your box space.

We want to offer everyone a safe place to work in our marketplace. We therefore ask you to actively follow the guidelines of the RIVM and our marketplace. According to the RIVM, wearing a face mask and keeping a distance of 1.5 metres helps to prevent the spread of infections. If the marketplace turns out to be a centre of infection, there is a risk of closure. In addition, staff absence as a result of infections could mean that you or we are no longer able provide our services. We are therefore counting on your cooperation.

Royal FloraHolland as vaccination location
