New set-up for member sessions20 May 2021
Between 9 June and 14 June 2021, Royal FloraHolland will be organising online information sessions for members about our company’s current position and the latest state of affairs regarding the implementation of strategic programmes. These company updates are part of the new approach to member communication that we are putting into effect step by step.
We want to inform you better. On the basis of feedback, among other things, the Members Engagement Committee of the Members' Council has made a proposal to replace the half-yearly member consultation sessions that you are used to from us with a combination of :
1. Informative (online) company updates in which the management
updates you on the company's current situation and the latest
developments (strategy implementation) with lots of room for
questions and answers.
2. More in-depth themed sessions organised by the Members' Council (supported by the company if so desired) with the emphasis on consultation of our members. During these sessions, members will enter into conversation about important themes with other members.
By making this division, we anticipate that we will be better able to fulfil our intention to both inform you well and to regularly consult you. During the short information sessions, we can provide members with more, and if necessary more frequent, information about the ups and downs within our company. As a result of this, the Members' Council can truly place the focus during the themed sessions on consultation and the conversation between members. We will test these expectations in the coming period and would also like to hear how you experience the meetings by asking for your evaluation.

Special for our members
Good communication is extremely important for good teamwork in our cooperative. We believe it's important to inform you well about what's going on within the company of which you are a co-owner, so you can pose questions about this and gain sufficient knowledge to contribute ideas, take part in conversations and participate. Meetings are in important tool to that end.
That is why in addition to the above-mentioned informative company updates and themed sessions, we have also been organising 'consultation hours' with the Management Board, Members' Council and FPCs on a regular basis since this year. During these consultation hours, you can share questions, concerns and opportunities that you see in an open discussion. In the 'Agenda' on the website, you will find an overview of all sessions. Online now that it is necessary, in person when that's possible again.
All member meetings are online for the time being in view of the coronavirus rules. As soon as it's possible once again, we will also organise in-person meetings once again, in addition to online sessions. We too sincerely hope that this will be possible again soon, because we're looking forward to meeting you again.
