The FPC; the discussion partner on product-related matters18 March 2021
In 2020 and in consultation with FPC members, changes were discussed to strengthen the performance of the FloraHolland Product Committees (FPCs) and the position of the FPCs within the cooperative. An important starting point here was to channel product-related signals from members to one place, namely the FPC. In this way, FPCs and the company can have more structured discussions with each other.

The biggest problem we are currently confronted with, however, is that the discussion between members and the company takes place at different locations. Opinions are brought to the fore via all kinds of channels and, in turn, Royal FloraHolland uses all kinds of channels to gather information. This is not to the benefit of the discussion and, ultimately, the decision-making from within the company.
We are going to - read must - change this together. This is why we've opted to channel; this means that the FPC will become the representative and through that the discussion partner of the product group with the company. This regarding product-related matters or the strategy implementation for products specifically. The FPC will communicate on this with its members and will consult, if necessary.
