Negative advice TLN for transport to United Kingdom

Transport Logistics Netherlands advises against transports to the United Kingdom until further notice. The United Kingdom has stated that only unaccompanied crossings to the European continent are permitted due to the contagious corona mutation.
On 21 December 2020, EU Member States had a crisis meeting, which should clarify the measures to be taken.
This is already clear:
- Stena Line will continue to sail between Harwich and the Hook of Holland. Only freight transport is still possible to and from the United Kingdom. In this way, potentially stranded lorry drivers can still return home.
- Ferry companies will continue to operate between the United Kingdom and the Netherlands (but only for accompanied and unaccompanied freight transport).
- Eurotunnel and Ferry terminal are closed to UK traffic.
