Grower-Grower Scheme and Trading Scheme through Floriday as of 1 January06 October 2020
Do you use the Grower-Grower Scheme (GGS) or Trading Scheme to purchase flowers or plants from fellow growers or to trade them with fellow traders? Then 1 January will see a number of changes relevant to the way in which you work. As you know, all direct trade will be conducted 100% Digital through Floriday by the end of 2020. Starting 1 January, the GGS and Trading Scheme will be carried out through Floriday, too. This email details what the change means for you. What does it mean for the GGS?
If you wish to continue using the GGS as a grower next year to purchase from fellow growers, then you can do so through Floriday. The grower from whom you wish to purchase places their supply in Floriday. You can then purchase product from this supply through Floriday as a buyer. Subsequently, you can offer what you purchase for resale through Floriday as a seller. That way, the GGS transaction is 100% Digital. Financial settlement of the transaction is concluded through Royal FloraHolland in the way in which you are accustomed.
What does it mean for the Trading Scheme?
Customers wishing to resell their purchases through Royal FloraHolland to fellow purchasers and who use the Trading Scheme, can do so through Floriday starting 1 January. You purchase from growers on the clock or though Floriday. Subsequently, you can use Floriday as a supplier to resell your purchases to fellow purchasers. Financial settlement of the transaction is concluded through Royal FloraHolland in the way in which you are accustomed.
It is important that you are prepared for these changes on time, so that you can take advantage of the schemes correctly as of 1 January 2021. Users of the GGS and Trading Scheme will receive information explaining the changes and an invitation to attend several Floriday workshops shortly.
