Floriday and Opti-flor continue development towards 100% Digital24 September 2020
All direct orders will be 100% Digital by the end of 2020. Floriday is the platform that makes this possible. Opti-flor works closely together with Floriday and actively contributes to the development of various functionalities. Opti-flor’s supply can now be presented digitally with greater ease and more clarity.
Working 100% Digital means that the grower's supply is available online on Floriday and that buyers place their orders online. The switch to digital has led to many changes in working methods. Digitisation ultimately results in more efficient workflows, fewer ordering errors and a better exchange of information.
Currently, the Opti-flor locations Design and Multi-flora are operating in the Floriday environment with customers to properly prepare and test everything. They are implementing the latest techniques (API connections) to create an suitable digital infrastructure together.
One of the functionalities that Opti-flor makes use of in Floriday is 'My Shop'; trusted buyers who do not or partially use their (own) software can use this functionality to purchase direct digitally. Ruud Blankman, sales manager at Opti-flor: "Opti-flor's supply can now be presented to our customers with more ease and clarity. Navigation within our collections is now possible, for instance. It is also possible to see the product supply in real time. And finding the appealing pot-plant combinations with our D.O.C.G. ceramics will soon be easier, too. All in all, filling trolleys with a mixed range of products from our various collections with matching ceramics is becoming much easier."
