New this summer: use the Royal FloraHolland app to mark supply in Eelde as well05 August 2020
We are about to modernise many things in Eelde this summer. Eelde will switch to the very latest auction and sales techniques and we will apply a new method of logistics handling there. This is also the moment that the Mark Supply option in the Royal FloraHolland app will become available to you in Eelde. This way you’ll know for sure that you are buying the right product on the clock.
Do you want to be sure that you are buying the product on the auction clock that you've seen with your own eyes? Then use your smartphone to mark the auction lots that are of interest to you while viewing the clock supply. You will be automatically notified when your lot comes up for auction. This saves you time and stress.
The benefits for you
- You can be sure that you are buying the right products that you've seen with your own eyes
- The scanned supply is forwarded directly to your KOA application or auction-room workstation
- You are notified when the marked lot is being auctioned
- Multiple buyers (or their customers) can mark supply with one subscription
Downloading and using the Royal FloraHolland app is free of charge. The cost of a subscription to Mark Supply with the app is on the customer rates page under 'Other customer rates'. You can also mark supply in FloraMondo.
How does this work in Eelde?
Open the Royal FloraHolland App and select 'Mark Supply'. If you are not logged in yet, a login window will open. Log in with your Royal FloraHolland account. Once you are logged in, you can start scanning. You can assign the lot to multiple buyers before or after the scan. While viewing the lots, you scan the barcode on the delivery note of the preferred lot. The details are transmitted to your auction-room workstation or your own workstation (via Remote Buying). You will be notified before this lot is auctioned.
There is Wi-Fi coverage in the cold stores on site (RFH-EXT). Every month, the password for this free-of-charge service changes; this is announced in the auction rooms. There is also 3G/4G coverage. However, the signal may be considerably weaker in the cold stores. We therefore recommend using our Wi-Fi service in the cold stores. If you haven't got a good connection, you can still continue to scan. Your scans will then be held in a queue.
In the coming months, we will ensure you are closely involved in the developments at our Eelde location. Make sure to also keep an eye on our website and our newsletter, where we will regularly give you updates.
