Peak period for CC material applicable again23 April 2020
The continued warm spring weather and the reopening of stores in Western Europe are causing demand for CC containers to pick up again. The emergency measure from early April, to opt for no peak period this year and to adjust our opening hours, is therefore no longer needed for CCs. That is why the storage costs will be discontinued as of today.
As of next Friday, 1 May, we will reintroduce the peak surcharge on rent. This means that we are now back to the standard 'peak period' plan for CCs. We are also expanding the opening hours of our CC depots.
The demand for auction trolleys has not yet returned to a normal level. Here no peak period for auction trolleys is still applicable, and therefore no peak surcharge for lock plates either.
No storage costs for CC material
The peak period for CC material will resume on Thursday 23 April and will end on the night of 7/8 June 2020. You will not be charged any storage costs for CC containers and shelves during this period. The handling and transfer costs for CC material apply year round and will not be altered.
Rent of CC containers and CC shelves subject to peak surcharge
The rent of CC containers and CC shelves will be subject to a peak surcharge from Friday 1 May until the night of 7/8 June 2020. This peak surcharge can be found in the rate overview.
