On 2 March 2020, twelve additional product groups will start using the Fc588 (and Fc598). This applies to both clock and direct trade. As a result, starting early March, even more growers will benefit from the efficient flower bucket Fc588.

Every day, we work on improving our logistics services and increasing efficiency as much as possible. With the introduction of the flower bucket Fc588, we are responding to the increasing use of CC containers in the export trade, working on further sustainability and ensuring a reduction in chain costs.

Release for twelve new product groups

From Monday 2 September 2020, growers of the seasonal flowers below can also supply (both Clock and Direct trade) in Fc588 and/or Fc598 buckets:

  • Asclepias
  • Aster
  • Astilbe
  • China aster
  • Campanula
  • Lepidium
  • Ornithogalum
  • Peony
  • Ruscus
  • Sedum
  • Trachelium
  • Viburnum

Last year, the product groups Lisianthus, Alstroemeria and sixteen seasonal flowers started using Fc588 (and Fc598). This week, we will reach the seven millionth circulation of this efficient flower bucket! All product groups that are already able to use Fc588 and/or Fc598 are listed here.

We are opting for a phased introduction per product group in order to ensure sufficient availability, also during peak periods. Use by groups other than the released product groups is therefore not yet possible.

Issue Fc588/Fc598 starts 24 February 2020

For the suppliers of these twelve additional product groups, the Fc588 and Fc598 will be available as of Monday 24 February 2020. The regulated issue takes place from our packaging locations in Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk, Rijnsburg and Eelde, and at Rhein-Maas Auction and Plantion.

Planning Rose roll-out: end of June 2020

We will continue to roll out and release Fc588 and/or Fc598 in 2020. For the time being, the Rose product group is planned for release. We expect to release Rose at the end of June (week 27). More information will follow as soon as it becomes available.
