Make the switch to entering quantities now
We will switch to entering quantities on Wednesday, 17 November. This means that from then on, a buyer will no longer use audio (speech) to signal their purchase intention on Royal FloraHolland’s auction clocks, but will enter quantities instead. This applies to all locations and all auction groups.
We have renewed entering quantities. We developed alternatives for options that are dropped when speech is no longer possible. Watch the video and the instruction leaflet explaining the new features.

Preparing your KOA workstation
Step 1 - You already have:
- a laptop with a QWERTY keyboard;
- a KOA (auction room workstation) subscription;
- a headset with a microphone. Please keep this headset on for your contact with the Auctioneer, for example when filing an error report
Step 2 - Watch the instructional video that explains the new functionalities. Set up your keyboard according to your own preferences. You can also attach stickers to your keyboard as a reminder when purchasing. You can get this sticker sheet free from the Digital Clock Support department.
Prepare for the switch
Following advice from the Nationwide Auctioning Support Team and individual discussions with buyers, we have given you the time to get used to (the updated way of) entering quantities.
Entering quantities is already possible now at all locations. You can also use test clock T60 at any time to practise purchasing via entering a quantity. Do you still use audio (speech) to buy via the Auction? This will no longer be possible as of Wednesday, 17 November. Be well prepared and start switching to entering quantities now.
