On site Auctioning Eelde
Pilot has started
In Eelde, the pilot ‘On site Auctioning’ is starting. Growers will soon be able to auction flowers and plants while they are still in the garden, and buyers will have access to a complementary assortment in flowers and plants in addition to the regular offerings on the familiar auction clock. We are starting a pilot with a small group of growers and buyers at Eelde.
What does this mean for you as a grower?
As a grower, you can make your offer for garden auction known via Floriday. The buyer buys your flowers or plants on Monday morning through a special On site Auctioning Eelde that starts 15 min after the regular auction ends. You see on Floriday what has been sold and what you have to deliver. You gather everything for the different buyers fresh from the garden. With help of the carrier you choose, the flowers or plants will be delivered by Tuesday 6.00 am to the auction location in Eelde by Thursday. The team in Eelde splits the delivered carts and delivers your flowers or plants to the right buyer.

- The product will be sold to bids above or exactly at this price. This gives you as a grower a degree of price certainty.
- You decide how much you want sold in total of a particular product. If this minimum quantity is not sold, the product will not be delivered to Eelde. The minimum order unit per buyer is at least one barrel from a stacker/cc container.
- In Floriday you have the overview of all orders placed during the garden auction in Eelde.
- You have a 100% payment guarantee and completely hassle-free handling of trade in the customer box.
What does this mean for you as a buyer?
As a buyer, you view all the offerings for the On site Auctioning Eelde in the morning, before 6:00 am. This can be found in the 'RFH Clock Supply'- app on Floriday. With the product you will see clear productspecifications and a photo. To buy in, open the 'RFH Digital Clock app on Floriday, where the auction starts 15 minutes after the regular auction ends.
For your convenience, your purchases are then taken directly from the garden to the auction site at Eelde. You can pick up your purchases from Tuesday 8 a.m. onwards in Eelde or let the team from Eelde have your purchases delivered to your store.

- The minimum order unit per buyer is ineach case one barrel from a stacker/cc container.
- As you are used to, we check products before the products are delivered. If we find anything during this inspection, we will notify you. If you want to complain about something later, you can do so through the usual route.
- The product invoice gives you insight into your purchases. This way you always know exactly what you bought, what was delivered and what you have to pay to the grower.
