If we want the sector to flourish, then we have to work together better and put the focus on the customer. To involve customers actively in the elaboration and implementation of the Royal FloraHolland 2020 strategy, Royal FloraHolland set up a Customer Platform.
The Customer Platform has an advisory function and meets four times a year. Customers discuss strategic and tactical topics with the Board and management of Royal FloraHolland in confidence, with an open exchange of information.
In this way, the Customer Platform contributes to making the Royal FloraHolland policy serve the interests of the entire chain, including the customers' interests. For matters to be implemented at the locations, the buyers' committees are also consulted.
Structure of the Customer Platform
General Director Lucas Vos is chairman of the Customer Platform and is assisted by two secretaries, one from the VGB and one from Royal FloraHolland. Together they set the agenda. The Customer Platform consists of around 20:
They come from companies based in all of the commercial segments. In addition, Servaas van der Ven, Commercial Concern Manager of Royal FloraHolland, participates in the Customer Platform.
